St. James' Park is one of English football's great cathedrals, towering above the Newcastle skyline with the Milburn and Leazes Stands forming a dramatic double-decker structure visible for miles. With a capacity of over 52,000, it is the seventh-largest stadium in England and generates an atmosphere that regularly draws praise from visiting managers and players. The ground sits at the very edge of Newcastle city centre, making it uniquely integrated into the urban fabric and within easy walking distance of the railway station and central bars and restaurants.
