The Coventry Building Society Arena opened in 2005 as the Ricoh Arena and has served as Coventry City's home through a turbulent period that included a temporary exile to Birmingham. With a capacity of just over 32,000, it is a multi-purpose venue also used for concerts and major events, and it hosted matches during the 2012 London Olympics. The ground sits on the outskirts of the city near junction 3 of the M6, making it one of the most accessible Premier League venues by road.
