The MKM Stadium opened in 2002 as the KC Stadium and was shared with Hull FC Rugby League club for many years before a more permanent arrangement was established. Located close to Hull city centre on the site of the former Boulevard, the 25,400-capacity all-seater arena was one of the first purpose-built football stadiums of the new millennium. The stadium has hosted major concerts and a round of the Rugby League World Cup, cementing its role as the primary entertainment venue for the East Riding of Yorkshire.
